As The Rental Show 2012 returns to New Orleans for the first time in a decade, those attending the trade show portion of the show, which opens Monday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m., will find a completely remodeled Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

More than 670 manufacturers and suppliers, including more than 100 first-time exhibitors designated by stickers in front of their booths, are scheduled to participate with exhibits stretching from Halls E through J, covering about half of the mile-long facility.

The exhibit hall opens on Monday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Those offering inflatables will be located in Hall E with Party/Special Event exhibitors in Hall F. General Tool/Homeowner equipment companies will be in Hall G and Construction/Industrial companies will be in Halls H, I and J.

“This is a traditional trade show floor with three sections on one long hall. Attendees should be prepared for more walking,” says Allison Box, senior director of association services for the American Rental Association (ARA), organizers of The Rental Show.

Attendees also will find relaxation stations on the show floor sponsored by Wynne Systems, including charging stations for cell phones and laptop computers.
